Today’s meeting was focused on working out the logistics of distributing the survey to students, faculty, and staff next week. This weekend, members can log in to Survey Monkey and edit the survey. Committee members will be tabling Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week to encourage people to take the survey. The CRIC also plans to advertise the survey other ways: Chuck and Kristen will put ads in the NNB, Chuck will put an entry in the All-Campus Email and make a Facebook event, Joe will make a poster, and David S. will add the survey to the CRIC website. The CRIC plans to leave the survey open until Friday, May 21, the date of the next meeting. That way the committee will have enough time to put the results in the end-of-the-year report.
Other orders of business included encouraging more students to apply to be on the committee and discussing the possibility of getting a Carletonian article and a speaker for fall term to generate more publicity. The committee will have lunch with Bob Nelson, a Carleton Trustee, on Thursday, May 13, when he will address the corporate side of proxy voting. The CRIC will meet next at 3:30 pm on May 21.
