Last Friday’s meeting consisted primarily in the CRIC’s members going over their individual research on shareholder resolutions to decide whether to pursue each of the nine categories the committee chose at the prior meeting. In deciding whether to keep each resolution, the committee discussed the resolution’s social and ethical importance, its possible impacts, the likelihood of the Board’s approving the proposal, as well as whether the CRIC recommended similar resolutions in the past. The CRIC decided to continue with the following resolutions: Remediate the Midlands Hydraulic Fracturing Say on Pay Human Right to Water Sexual Orientation The committee will also consider including the Tobacco Farm Worker, Electric Power and Foreign Military Sales resolutions after Kristen researches them further. For now, the committee members have divided up the resolutions and are working on drafting final (or nearly final) reports by the next meeting, which is Wednesday, January 20. Kristen sent out a report template, so the reports should have parallel formats.
