As this Tuesday marked CRIC’s first meeting of 2009, the committee first decided on a meeting time. Common time (12:00pm – 1:00pm) on Tuesdays (and possibly Thursdays) had the fewest conflicts.

CRIC is planning to attend the Board of Trustees’ Investment Committee meeting on February 12th from 12:30 to 12:45pm. CRIC’s members will take this opportunity to introduce themselves to the Board before submitting their resolution proposals.

The deadline for the Board Book is January 26th, so CRIC may try to have a proposal on shareholder resolutions ready by then. That may be too soon to come up with an entirely new proposal, so the committee may choose to first address topics on which it has drafted proposals in the past. Therefore, the members can edit those previous proposals to use for the current shareholder resolutions.

Once more, each member reported his or her findings on 2009 shareholder resolutions, which the committee then sorted into many categories (listed below). CRIC plans to vote on which categories seem most vital, and from there will begin to write proposals.
