  • Introductions
  • Sightlines Presentation (our greenhouse gas calculations) was given by Martha Larson and Alex Miller
    • Facilities project to benchmark our progress on facilities-related data as well as sustainability benchmarks (data back to 2008)
    • Overall, 18% reduction in emissions from 2008 to 2017, right on par with our peer institutions.
    • Public grid electricity emissions has gone down 9%, this is not due to any Carleton is doing, but it important because when Carleton will finish up the Utility Master Plan, we will be using much more electricity and less natural gas.
  • Climate Action Week Recap- full event line up here for Feb. 17-24!
    • One week, eight speakers, nine events, 543 attendees, 138 participants in the No Impact Challenge. Great line up of events all organized by students.
  • Stewsie Award
    • The EAC gives out an award each year, attendees were encouraged to think of people to nominate. 
  • AASHE STARS Awards
    • Awards are given out at the national sustainability conference. Attendees were encouraged to think of ideas for submissions.
