Career Center Committee

Mission

The mission of the Career Center Advisory Committee is to support the work of the Career Center, to help create linkages between the Career Center and academic departments, and to provide counsel and insight on Career Center programs, resources, and services.

Membership

Faculty: Two faculty members are appointed by the Faculty Affairs Committee. Each member will serve a two-year term.

Staff: The Director and Associate Director of the Career Center serve as ex officio members.

Students: No students serve on the committee at this time.

Preferred Skills or Experience for Committee Members

Faculty members should have a strong interest in the variety of ways in which the College helps to prepare students for life after Carleton.

Committee Work

The committee meets once or twice per term. Meeting agendas are determined by the Director of the Career Center.
