Before registering for courses, students are required to meet with their academic adviser to discuss the courses that they are about to register to take. It is a violation of the Academic Integrity policy for a student to attest that they have met with their adviser if they have not done so. As with any other form of Academic Integrity violation, this act is subject to the same sanctions (e.g., Censure & Warning, Suspension, or Expulsion). Students who misrepresent themselves in this way will also have their registration canceled; they will need to petition to register for courses for the following term.

Reporting Violations

Advisers who become aware of a student falsely claiming to have met with them before registering may report this violation by emailing or calling the Registrar.
