Wondering how to survive the spring term? Here is the answer: take a fun trip with us..to Italy! No plane tickets needed: come on a journey with us with a great story of passion and jealousy! We will be going to watch Leoncavallo's "Pagliacci," ("Clowns"), the first opera to state that "the show must go on" at any cost, even when you are heartbroken and dealing with the worst possible betrayal!
Join us for a great story of art imitating life: Professors Cecilia Cozzi, Katharine Hargrave, and Brooke Okazaki will bring you to see this opera live in the Twin Cities, after sharing a quick talk, 12 - 12:50 PM in Leighton 304 on the highlights of this forgotten masterpiece!  Pizza and sparkling water will be provided during the pre-opera talk.
