Visiting Professor of Classics, Anastasia Pantazopoulou, will be giving a research talk titled, Curtain’s Up: Home and Identity in Euripides’ Medea and Fincher’s Gone Girl (2014).

This talk explores how Euripides's and Fincher's female protagonists use home as a performing space to reclaim their identities and rewrite their stories through acts of calculated vengeance.
