Cecilia Cornejo featured artist at Rural Arts Anti-Racism Meetup

5 October 2020

Cecilia Cornejo, Part-time Faculty in Cinema and Media Studies, was one of four featured artists at the Rural Arts Anti-Racism Meetup, hosted by Springboard for the Arts and the Department of Public Transformation, on October 2. The virtual panel focused on artists from across the country who are promoting equity and social justice through their art and highlighted their ideas for a more equitable future for rural places. In addition, Cecilia’s feature documentary, Ways of Being Home ~ Between Northfield & Maltrata, will be screened as part of the Official Selection of the Lonestar Film Festival, TX, in early November.
