Director Phil Harder, producer of music videos for the Foo Fighters and Barenaked Ladies and commercial spots for Apple and Target, is currently on location in Northfield, shooting scenes for an independent feature film, Tuscaloosa, set in Alabama in the 1970s.
CAMS majors Kayla Rudess ’18 and Rachel Everett ’18 have joined the cast and crew. Last Saturday, they both worked as extras. By Sunday, Kayla had landed a job as a PA with the art department for this coming weekend, while Rachel was enlisted as a production assistant. Both report that they had a lot of fun, were impressed with the equipment, and look forward to being on set in the coming weeks, as the crew moves the location shoot from Division Street to Laird Hall on the Carleton campus!
