After graduating with a CAMS major in 2014 and joining the CAMS staff for a year as an Educational Associate in the CAMS Production Office, Isaac Burns will now start the next leg of his journey towards a career in filmmaking. “I’m thrilled to move into the director’s chair as an MFA student at the University of Texas-Austin’s Film and Media Production program,” Isaac reports. “I’m hoping to focus on fiction narrative storytelling, though I’m excited to make nonfiction work too. I’ll also gain more experience teaching, something I developed a taste for as this year’s CAMS Educational Associate. I can’t wait to get down to Austin in August and dive headfirst into the program.”
