Since graduating from Carleton, CAMS major Soohyun “Cathy” Lee ’16 has been working as a Video Director at 1MILLION Dance Studio, based in Seoul. For her CAMS comps project, Cathy produced a short film, Kaila Sue: Lost Fantasy, inspired by the aesthetics and sensibility of K-Pop. This project served as her calling card in applying for the position of Video Director at 1MILLION Dance Studio.
At 1Million Dance Studio, Cathy works closely with the studio’s choreographers to produce online videos, which are released mainly on YouTube. The studio produces choreography for many K-pop groups with huge fan followings and also holds dance workshops internationally. Most recently, Cathy and her crew were in Toronto.
