CAMS Grad Alison Jarzyna '08

A CAMS major helped me develop the conceptual thinking and communication skills I needed to pursue my dreams. After graduating from Carleton, I spent a year working at the Gould Library as an exhibitions assistant, which developed my interest in museums and gallery work. I received an MA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Film and an MA from the University of Leicester in Museum Studies. Both of these degrees and the work I completed outside of my education led me to an interest in the law and the legal work necessary in arts management and intellectual property. I completed my JD at Mitchell Hamline School of Law (formerly Hamline University School of Law) and am now an Associate at the law firm of Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis, specializing in trademark law  as well as matters relating to trademark dilution, trade dress, false advertising, technology and domain names.
