CAMS Major Janae Green '10

Janae Green is a CAMS ’10 grad currently living in Los Angeles, California. Immediately after graduating from Carleton, she moved to New York City, where she worked for three years in freelance production as a Production Assistant, Production Coordinator, and Associate Producer on shows such as Project Runway Allstars (Lifetime Network), XOX Betsy Johnson (Style Network), Brother vs. Brother (HGTV), and Gun Hill (BET). In 2013, she enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh to pursue a Masters in Entertainment Industry Management, a two-year business program. In 2014, she applied for and received membership to the Producer’s Guild of America in the Associate Producer Council. During the second year of the Masters program, she interned with companies such as the E! Network, Viacom (both east and west coast), and HBO. Upon graduation, Janae worked as a temp at HBO and Marvel Studios before landing a full-time job at HBO in their West Coast Production department. She is an Executive Assistant to two Directors of Production where she interfaces with HBO and Cinemax productions such as Ballers, Crashing, Quarry, Room 104, and Animals. She hopes to continue along the professional track of becoming a production management executive. She is currently working on producing a short story adaptation entitled Hold the Wind.
