John Maworter

CAMS grad John Maworter ’10 earned an MFA in Digital Art and New Media from UC-Santa Cruz in 2014, where he focused on game design. John’s research interests include digital as well as physical games, sports, contests of skill, mechanical games, multiplayer competitive digital games, the body, perception, and phenomenology.  He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he is developing ecological sports and streaming computer games competitively. He welcomes collaborations with fellow CAMS majors and continues to count Branded to Kill (Seijun Suzuki, 1967) and Brazil (Terry Gilliam, 1985) among his favorite films.
