I am writing to make you aware of a new Undergraduate Research Program at the University of Delaware. This program is designed to bring students interested in an undergraduate research experience to the UD campus for 10 weeks of summer research to gain exposure to a graduate research environment. Selected fellows will receive housing on-campus, a $4000 stipend, and round-trip transportation to the university.
Many faculty in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry will be participating as research mentors, so I ask that you circulate the attached flyer to any students who may be interested in coming to our campus this summer to work in our labs. The application deadline is Feb 15, 2019, and preference will be given to students completing sophomore or junior years.
