The National Science Foundation funded Centers for Chemical Innovation (CCIs) are offering paid 10-week chemistry summer research experiences for summer 2018. The CCIs are engaged in collaborative high risk, high impact chemical research challenges. To learn more about the CCIs, please visit http://www.nsf-cci.com
CCIs provide unique research experiences for undergraduate students (REU) in which participants are immersed in collaborative research environments throughout the USA. Each CCI includes multiple collaborating institutions where accepted candidates may choose to conduct their summer research.
Participants in the CCI summer research programs receive a wide range of exciting opportunities, including:
- A competitive stipend, travel award, and housing provided for 10 weeks of research
- Engaging in innovative, cutting-edge multi-institutional and interdisciplinary research
- Interacting with prominent leaders in the chemical sciences
- Participating in seminars, workshops, career planning sessions and other professional development opportunities

Note that application deadlines are different for each program, ranging from January 5 to February 22.
