REU Summer Research Program: The Stressed Life of Cells

We are hosting a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas this summer.  An REU program is a marvelous opportunity for students to develop research skills, build networks, and enjoy social activities.  Students will receive individual mentoring from faculty and other lab members as they test hypotheses and develop a research project.   Students may select labs from a variety of different disciplines, including Microbiology, Virology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Cancer Biology, Genetics or Neurobiology.   We would be delighted to receive applications from Carleton College students and host them in our program.  

Location:  The University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas
Dates:  May 23-July 29, 2022
Benefits include travel reimbursements, dormitory housing, and $6,000 stipend
