Excerpt from an email sent from Dani…Because this is one of the most important things we do in the department, we truly need YOUR help. Every one of you, regardless of how many chemistry courses you have taken, brings experience and perspective that we need. We need to know what you think of our candidates to ensure we hire the best people for our future. You can also help convince candidates that Carleton and our department are great places to be a professor – largely because of the quality and character of Carleton students.
You might remember the process from last year. Student input was instrumental in our very successful search, when we were able to hire Tamra Lahom and Kaz Skubi, who you might have had the chance to work with already.

What does your involvement look like? We will be interviewing 4 people in the next 3 weeks (starting Oct 22-23, through Nov 7). Each candidate will tour our facilities and visit with MANY people — chemistry faculty and staff, others on campus, and have several opportunities to interact with students. You must RSVP to guarantee we have students at these important interview events.
