UW PREP is an NIH-funded program that supports one year of post-baccalaureate research in participating labs at the University of Washington or the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA. The program is housed in the Department of Chemistry, where all the group meetings, discussions, journal clubs, and mentoring occur. The expectation is that this experience will facilitate the student’s enrollment into PhD or MD/PhD programs in the biomedical sciences.
