Northeastern University is a research-forward institution in which to pursue graduate studies. The department of chemistry and chemical biology offers basic and translational research at the cutting edge for experiments and theory; they’re also part of the unique interdisciplinary Connected PhD program. Our Chemistry and Chemical Biology PhD Program are American Chemical Society Bridge Partners and are designed to launch students into careers at the forefront of experimental and computational research in materials, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and biophysics. Our students augment their research at collaborative research centers such as the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Center (ISEC) and EXP. We also have a thriving Graduate Student Association and Alliance for Diversity in Science and Engineering chapter.
