Thursday, November 5th at 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PM PST over Zoom.

The Chemistry Graduate Student Outreach Alliance invites you to their chemistry graduate admissions panel on Navigating Chemistry Graduate Applications During the COVID Pandemic. We are a group of chemistry graduate students dedicated to helping others through the graduate admissions process, especially those who may not otherwise have access to such resources. The hour-long panel will be held on Thursday, November 5th at 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PM PST over Zoom. We will address common questions submitted by the attendees, which may include topics such as:

  • Requirements for graduate school applications.
  • Writing personal statements.
  • How to get the most out of virtual visit weekends.
  • How to address research plans falling through due to COVID.
  • Meeting professors and joining a lab…over Zoom.
  • Fees, finances, and funding.
  • How to prepare oneself for graduate school

Please sign up by filling out this short registration form here, and submit your questions at the end of the form.

We will send out a zoom link closer to the date. Students of any year are welcome to attend.
