Funding is available for two Carleton students to work as summer science faculty in the LearningWorks middle-school college preparatory program based in downtown Minneapolis. The selected students will work with LearningWorks staff to develop their own six-week curriculum for implementation in Summer 2017. Participants will receive a $4500 stipend.
LearningWorks’ mission is two-fold: to prepare middle-school students drawn from the Minneapolis Public Schools to succeed in college, and to inspire high school and college-age faculty to enter the teaching profession.
