Chemistry Graduate Program at Marquette University

1 November 2021

The Chemistry Department at Marquette University offers to provide seminar speakers, at our expense, as part of our graduate recruitment efforts to acquaint students and faculty members in the Great Lakes region with our programs. Members of our faculty are willing to give a departmental seminar, speak to specific classes, or simply schedule an informal visit with faculty and students.  In the first attached brochure, you will find a list of faculty and potential topics that are available this academic year. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact the person whom you are interested in directly. Alternatively, you can call me (414‑288‑7565) or send an email and I will arrange for a visit.

Also, the Marquette University Chemistry department offers outstanding opportunities for graduate studies, with MS and PhD degrees offered in research areas spanning the full spectrum of chemical disciplines. The department consists of 12 full-time faculty members, approximately 50 graduate students, and several postdoctoral research associates. In addition to the brochure about the travelling seminar program, we have attached a second brochure that describes our graduate program in Chemistry.  We would be delighted if you shared the document with chemistry majors in your department.

If you have any questions, please contact me at jier.huang@marquette.edu.

Thank you for your time and attention.
Sincerely,
Jier Huang
