entitled “Metal-Organic Frameworks: Designing Effective Systems for Gas Storage”

Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are porous crystalline solids that can be tailored to interact selectively with a variety of gas molecules. The modular nature of MOFs enables many practical applications such as the storage of hydrogen as a clean fuel and the selective trapping of greenhouse gasses. In this presentation, we explore how Jeff Long’s research group thoughtfully designs and characterizes MOFs to achieve effective gas separations and storage at optimal conditions.
