Journey with Climate KIC Summer School
Volume 23, Number 14The Journey with Climate KIC is a European institution financed by the EU Commission as well as a few companies such as Veolia. The Journey is an intensive 5-week summer school program across Europe with the goal to develop entrepreneurial skills through climate friendly projects. This program also provides some insightful business classes to supplement a liberal arts education.

ACS sponsored Nuclear and Radiochemistry Summer School Program
Volume 23, Number 8We are seeking curious and highly motivated students with strong science backgrounds. If selected, these students receive an all-expense paid opportunity to complete a 6 week summer course in Nuclear and Radiochemistry in either California or New York. They also earn hours (tuition paid) of undergraduate chemistry credit through either San Jose State University or SUNY-Stony Brook. Selected students also receive a stipend of $4,000.
The deadline for applications is February 1, 2019.

Nuclear Forensics Undergraduate Summer School Program Now Accepting Applications- Summer 2018
Volume 22, Number 18NFUSS is a six-week course, sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), designed to provide undergraduate students with comprehensive, experimental, hands-on training in topics essential to nuclear forensics. This program will be held June 11 to July 20, 2018, at the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City. Through laboratory experiments and complementary lectures, students are introduced to the practice and technical aspects of nuclear forensic science. The program will also include a field trip to Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).

Off-Campus SEA Semester Tabling & Info Sessions Jan. 10
Volume 22, Number 12The SEA Semester is an amazing off-campus adventure in environmental studies that combines the science of sailing with climate science, ocean science, culture, and more. A wide variety of programs emphases, locations, and voyage times are available. A SEA admissions counselor, Julia LoPresti, will be at Carleton on Wed. Jan. 10. Volume 21, Number 16Students should apply online at: ne.oregonstate.edu/radiochemistryschool. Applications are due February 28, 2017. The summer school is limited to 12 students and acceptance notification will be sent by March 31, 2017.
