Cancer Research Opportunities at Iowa Undergrad Program – application deadline February 1

The application is now open for the University of Iowa’s Cancer Research Opportunities at Iowa (CROI) undergraduate summer program. This 10 week program features an individual research project, oral and poster presentation, mentoring, clinical shadowing, and career development opportunities.

  • Applicants should be undergraduates in an Associates or Bachelors degree program in biomedical sciences or a related degree program. Applicants in Bachelor’s degree programs must be graduating after the summer of 2025.
  • Applications are encouraged from students who are part of populations historically underrepresented in science careers.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred. Applicants with GPAs of 2.5-2.9 may be considered depending on their circumstances
