Avomeen is a contract research organization located in Ann Arbor, MI and we’re offering 2 scholarship opportunities annually to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline. Our annual scholarship opportunities are:
- Women in STEM (1 scholarship: $2,500)
- Minorities in STEM (1 scholarship: $2,500)
Students can apply via the Avomeen website here. Scholarship applications will be judged on two factors:
1) A written statement (200 words or less) on why the applicant has chosen to pursue a degree in STEM
a. For the Women in STEM scholarship, the applicant should include information about organizations they’ve been a part of and/or what they’re done in their community to support and promote female leadership
b. For the Minorities in STEM scholarship, applicants should include information about organizations they’ve been a part of and/or what they’ve done in their community to support and promote minority leadership
2) Eligibility requirements, which include:
a. Pursuing an undergraduate education at a US-based college or university for both scholarships; and
b. For the Women in STEM scholarship, the applicant must identify as a woman
c. For the Minorities in STEM scholarship, the applicant must identify as a minority
We’re accepting applications from October 1-April 1, and winners will be notified by May 1. The application and notification dates remain the same every year for this annual scholarship.
