I’m emailing to call your attention to Penn State’s 2022 Undergraduate Summer Research Program (REU) in the area of catalysis and motion (see attached). Undergraduate students will work for 10 weeks (May 31 to August 6, 2022) in Penn State labs on collaborative research problems that revolve around a detailed understanding of chemical and biochemical catalysis and the importance of dynamics in chemical and biochemical systems. Myriad activities and opportunities for networking and career development are provided. The stipend for the 10-week period is $6,000, and housing is provided in on-campus apartments free of charge. The application deadline is February 20, 2022 (please contact us if you need an extension). Undergraduate students (especially rising juniors and seniors) are encouraged to apply!
