Required Chemistry Comps Meeting
Wednesday May 22, 7:oo p.m., Anderson Hall 121
All rising senior Chemistry majors and any rising juniors who are hoping to complete comps next year are required to attend this meeting from 7:00 – 800 p.m. in Anderson Hall 121. Rising juniors who hope to complete comps next year should reach out now to Trish Ferrett to discuss their plans.

Periodic Table – Thursday, May 9
Periodic Table will meet at noon in Anderson Hall on the 3rd floor/Activation Energy Lounge. If you are off board, the department will cover your lunch. Go to Schulze Cafe in the Daugherty Atrium and ask for the chemistry charge. Any questions, contact Tami Little.

The Jerry and Jean Mohrig Lecture – Friday, May 10
Karen Goldberg, Vagelos Professor of Energy Research at the University of Pennsylania, will give the Jerry and Jean Mohrig Lecture on Friday, May 10 at 3:30 p.m. in Olin 149. The title of her talk is, “Developing Alternatives to Oil as Feedstocks for our Chemicals and Liquid Fuels.”
