Periodic Table – Thursday, May 2
Periodic Table will meet at noon in Anderson Hall on the 3rd floor/Activation Energy Lounge. If you are off board, the department will cover your lunch. Go to Schulze Cafe in the Daugherty Atrium and ask for the chemistry charge. Any questions, contact Tami Little.

The Jerry and Jean Mohrig Lecture – Monday, May 6
Dan Herschlag, Professor of Biochemistry at Stanford University, will give the Jerry and Jean Mohrig Lecture on Monday, May 6 at 3:30 p.m. in Olin 149. The title of his talk is, “From Structure–function to Ensemble–function: Understanding how enzymes work.”

New Chemistry Majors Event – Friday, May 3
Chemistry majors and new majors are invited to join department faculty and staff on Friday, May 3 for a “Welcome to the Chemistry Major” event. We will begin at 3:30 PM in Anderson 329 with a gathering of new majors to do some introductions and briefly provide important info that will help new majors get plugged into the Chemistry major. After that (around 3:50) we will move to the Anderson Amphitheater for frozen treats and socializing with junior and senior majors and department faculty and staff.
