Our Departmental Picnic will be held in Sechler Park on Friday, May 27, immediately following Honors Convo: RAIN or SHINE. Come for Great Food, Great Camaraderie, and the Famous Chemistry Department Annual Skit. Majors, sign up by Tuesday, May 24. If you weren’t able to sign up, please contact tlittle for information.
All needing rides or driving campus vehicles, plan to be in the parking lot by James Hall at 4:10-4:15pm, immediately following Honors Convo. We will coordinate rides from there. The van drivers are Zach DiNardo, Helen Jin-Lee, Tali Kottler and Allison Teichman. If you miss any of the vans, text Tami @ 507-321-2119.
Join us on Tuesday, May 31st at noon in Anderson 121 as we continue to talk about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect in Chemistry. This will be an opportunity to talk about what the department does well and what we could do better to make sure that all students feel welcome, supported, and included in our classes, labs, and departmental social life as well as to also keep working on our Departmental Statement of Values and living action plan.Bring your lunch with you, or if you are off board, the department will cover your lunch. Go to the Schulze Cafe in the atrium and ask for the chemistry charge.

Periodic Table meets this Thursday to eat lunch outside together in the Anderson Amphitheater. Bring your lunch with you and join us at the Anderson Amphitheater (south side main entrance). If the weather is cold or rainy, watch for an update or cancellation.
