Chemistry Department Picnic
Friday, May 18th, 2018
4:00 – 7:00 pm / Sechler Park
Our Departmental Picnic will be held in Sechler Park on Friday, May 18: RAIN or SHINE. Come for Great Food, Great Camaraderie, and the Famous Chemistry Department Annual Skit. Majors, RSVP on the website by Wednesday, May 16.
All needing rides or driving campus vans, plan to be in the Chapel parking lot by 3:45-4pm. We will coordinate rides from there.

All Chemistry majors, faculty, and staff are invited to share ideas about how to best promote inclusivity within the Chemistry Department (in classes, labs, group work, etc.). We would like to ask everyone to reflect on two questions that we will discuss, to help us improve as a department:
- What actions should the department take to promote a sense of inclusion for everyone in labs, group work, inside and outside of formal class time, etc.?
- What kinds of actions or strategies have you taken to promote inclusive interactions or to defuse inappropriate behaviors that you have witnessed (need not be in Chemistry)?
The discussion will be at 4:15 pm on Friday, May 25, shortly after Honors Convo, in Old Music 103. Appetizers will be provided.
