  • Visiting Position Filled!

    The Chemistry is very excited that Kim Huynh will be joining us as a Visiting Assistant Professor next year. Kim comes to us from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she did her Ph.D., working with materials used in gas masks and other devices that neutralize chemical warfare agents. She is currently a lecturer at Maryland, teaching introductory and organic chemistry. Kim will be teaching Organic Chemistry III in the fall, and will teach Orgo II in the Winter and Spring terms.

  • Welcome to the Chemistry Major Ice Cream Social!

    Friday, April 6, 3:30pm, Old Music 103

    Come celebrate the new sophomore chemistry majors and welcome them to the department at this event for ALL chemistry majors, faculty, and staff.  We will highlight department activities and provide a chance to meet with representatives from the CCCE, the Career Center, and the Fellowships Office, all while enjoying ice cream sundaes!
