Instead of Journal Club – Periodic Table meets this week
Periodic Table meets this Thursday, meet in Old Music and walk over to the LDC.

12:00 – 1:00 pm / Old Music Hall 103 to the LDCWe meet at noon in the hallway of Old Music by 103 and walk over together, or you can join us there. If you are off board, the department will cover your lunch. Note: We do not have a dining room reserved this week.

The Summer Laboratory Science Program at Mayo Clinic offers science majors the opportunity to explore career options and gain experience in the clinical laboratory environment.
The application for this opportunity is NOW OPEN and is open through February 28, 2018.

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh is pleased to announce the 2018 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program (SURF Pitt 2018). Summer research opportunities are available for up to five female and/or minority undergraduate students in the STEM disciplines who are expecting to graduate in 2019. Students selected for the program will receive a stipend of $371 per week for 10 weeks of summer research starting on May 27th and running until August 4th. Students will also be provided free housing on the University of Pittsburgh campus.
Review of applications for these positions will begin on February 1st.
