    Our Departmental Picnic will be held in Sechler Park on Friday, May 19 : RAIN or SHINE.  Come for Great Food, Great Camaraderie, and the Famous Chemistry Department Annual Skit.  Majors, please sign up on the website by Wednesday, May 17.  This form will let us know if you have dietary restrictions and if you will plan to drive and can take passengers.

    If you have already offered to drive and take riders, plan to be in the Mudd parking lot by 3:45-4pm.  We will coordinate rides from there.

    I am looking for 2 campus drivers to help transport majors in Campus Vans. Contact tlittle if you can drive one of the vans.

  • Required Comps Meeting for Juniors

    This is a required comps meeting for juniors.  Chris will be there to chat a bit about comps and answer questions.  Then, he will leave, and you can chat with this year’s seniors (group and long paper folks both) about their comps experiences.

  • Periodic Table meets this week

    Periodic Table meets this Thursday in the LDC.  We meet at noon in the chemistry hallway and walk over together, or you can join us there.  If you are off board, the department will cover your lunch.  Note:  We have the Class of ’51 room reserved this week.

  • New Science Complex Celebratory Launch

    On Friday, May 12th, 2017 gather at Mudd Amphitheater at 4 p.m., join a procession through the science buildings, and stay for a program and refreshments in Hulings.

    On behalf of the Chemistry Department, Elizabeth Grubb ’17 will be giving a few remarks and Clare Leahy ’17 and Phuong Nguyen ’18 will be presenting posters highlighting their research projects. Plus, there will be other students from the Sciences speaking and presenting posters. Come support your fellow students.
