Chemistry Department Seminar: Research Recruiting Part 1 - Off-Campus
We will have a two-part discussion of how to find a summer research opportunity in chemistry. Although we don't know what the summer will bring, it is important to know the process and types of opportunities that are available so that you can be prepared!
At this first meeting, we will discuss how to find off-campus research opportunities in chemistry and related disciplines, as well as information about how and when to apply.
Everyone is welcome — this discussion is designed for students at any stage in their study of chemistry.
Part 2, On-Campus Positions: Friday, January 10, 2025 @ 3:30 p.m. in AND 329. Stay tuned for information about opportunities. We will discuss on-campus summer research opportunities with chemistry faculty as well as application procedures.
*This seminar counts towards the chemistry major seminar attendance requirement for those who are not graduating this year.
