Vy Dong Lecture and Q & A Session

"Office Hours: Stuff I Wish I Knew in College"
From a childhood where books were scarce to a career fueled by scientific curiosity, this talk will trace my journey from a first-generation college student to a Chancellor's Professor at UC Irvine. Discovering the fascinating world of organic chemistry sparked a path through top labs culminating in research focused on molecular architecture for human health. I'll share highlights of my family's immigration story, my scientific trajectory, and a few favorite books, followed by open discussion and Q&A.
**Everyone is welcome, Professor Dong will give a short story about her career path in science followed by an informal Q&A/discussion session. Pizza and salad will be served.
