Service led by Rev Earl Neil '57 preaching about “From Dream to Reality.” Also featuring the Carleton Choir and Carleton’s Black Student Alliance leaders.

Reverend Earl Neil has devoted his life and work to furthering civil rights causes in inner-city Episcopal congregations in Kansas, Chicago, and California, as well as the wider Episcopal church in New York City and Washington, D.C. During a sabbatical leave from 1990-1993, he worked on the staff of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, helping to prepare for the first democratic elections in South Africa. Father Neil has since retired to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he lives with his wife, daughter, and grandson.
