Sukkot is a week-long Jewish holiday celebrating the harvest and God's protection during the period of time ancient Jews spent in exile after leaving Egypt. This year Sukkot is celebrated from October 6th to the 13th.
Part of this holiday is the building of the sukkah, a temporary shelter that is often used as a place to eat and reside in during observance of Sukkot.
The Sukkot Shabbat Service will be led by Rav Michaela Brown on Friday, October 10th on the Chapel Lawn. Cohost JSC.
