Who wouldn’t like to be able to offer a couple of extra courses—especially when other key faculty are on leave?

The CGRS has priority access to a post-doc and/or a Benedict hire on an ongoing basis. We can also help to organize requests for leave replacements. Many requests from smaller departments will be more successful if we join together, crafting position proposals that overlap with multiple programs.

Most hiring requests need to be presented to the Office of the Provost by late November, so if you are interested in working with other programs or departments to bring in a short-term hire, let us know in a timely fashion.

Also, we can also help strategize about tenure-track hires. Especially in smaller departments, a position description that is sponsored by more than one program can increase your chances of success.
