About
CarlsVote is a group that works within the Peace, Conflict, and Democracy cohort of the CCCE. Throughout the election cycle, CarlsVote provides nonpartisan information about voter registration and absentee voting. The club works to promote strong voter and civic engagement practices through providing voter information and hosting events to inform the campus community about local politics and elected officials. CarlsVote also hosts informational sessions, ‘write to your representative’ or ‘write for rights’ workshops, and various other events that seek to engage students with democracy and the electoral process.
Elections
CarlsVote supports students through the voting process in Northfield/Minnesota and in other states students vote in. To learn more about voting, visit the CCCE Voting Info page, stop by the CCCE office, or email Lily (wongl2@carleton.edu).
