Faribault Science Club allows middle school students to explore the physical world by playing around with everyday stuff. Activities range from making slime to building spectroscopes to solving CSI cases. Our primary goals are to get the kids to wonder why and how things work the way they do, have fun, develop strong relationships with positive role models, gain confidence, and become familiar with the scientific method along the way. The club meets at Faribault Middle School on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30, leaving Sayles at 3:00. Volunteers are welcome to join us at any time. Those who are especially enthusiastic are encouraged attend additional meetings to develop and assemble projects.

All students must complete a background check before volunteering at Faribault Public Schools. Please complete the form here.
