Educational Equity programs connect Carleton students with students in the Northfield and Faribault public school districts along with education non-profits in Rice County. In addition to tutoring and supporting afterschool programs, volunteers have opportunities to learn and engage with broader education equity initiatives like observing school board meetings, advocating for public school funding, and getting trained in mandated reporting, tutoring best practices, and mentoring students.
