CCCE volunteers work alongside our community partners in Rice County to address community identified goals. These programs seek to develop meaningful and reciprocal relationships with our community partners that last beyond individual students’ time at Carleton.

Volunteer Programs
The CCCE supports over two dozen student volunteer programs across our four focal areas of Food and Environmental Justice, Educational Equity, Health & Belonging, and Peace, Conflict & Democracy.
Academic Break Volunteering
Each year the CCCE sponsors trips over spring break focused on community engagement. We also support other winter and spring break volunteer opportunities in Rice County.
