About Tutoring Hotline:
Tutoring Hotline is a volunteer program that matches Carleton volunteers with Rice County students of all ages in need of free, one-on-one academic assistance in any subject. Our program supports students who already have a set curriculum; our tutors are not equipped to assign new content. Approved tutors sign up for specific tutoring requests depending on their academic interests and availability and will meet with students for about one hour, once a week in a public location or via Zoom. Tutoring sessions are individualized to the student’s needs and may include review of concepts learned in school, preparation for upcoming tests, help with homework, etc.
Sobre la Línea Directa de Tutoría:
La Línea Directa de Tutoría es un programa que empareja a los estudiantes de Carleton College con los estudiantes de todas las edades en Rice County. El programa ofrece tutoría gratuita para cualquier materia escolar. Nuestro programa apoya a los estudiantes que ya han establecido un plan de estudios. Nuestros tutores no asignan contenido nuevo a las tareas. Los tutores aprobados están programados para las solicitudes de tutoría según sus intereses académicos y su disponibilidad. Se reunirán con los estudiantes durante una hora, una vez a la semana en un lugar público o vía Zoom. Working with Minors Training (Required): You can access this course at the United Educators Website.

Carleton Fleet Vehicles: Carleton vehicles are available for tutors to travel to tutoring locations. Reach out to Danielle Trajano to start the process and receive Worktag Ref ID 1.
