Weekly Commitment
Ruth’s House, an emergency and transitional housing program, offers 9 family units for homeless women and their children and also several units of off-site supportive housing within the community. This housing program offers women and families space and time to begin healing and rebuilding their lives. Residents may stay at Ruth’s House for up to 24 months. Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks, such as supervising children and sorting donations. Volunteers visit Ruth’s House on at least a weekly basis.
