This year our community partner appreciation event was a little different. COVID kept us from gathering in person to celebrate one another, so we changed up the format and held a virtual event focused on building and deepening connections across people, organizations, and issues by weaving together our networks. Technology allowed us to connect in new ways, including using zoom language channels and a professional interpreter to make this a bilingual event, an interactive jam board to collaborate, a graphic notetaker, and community-identified topical breakout discussions. Thank you to all of our collaborators — non-profit and public sector staff, community organizers, and other civic-minded partners — who generously allow Carleton to be part of the work of making our communities better for everyone.
