Carleton will be offering early voting on campus, as an additional convenient alternative to voting on election day or other early voting options. Anyone eligible to vote in Rice County or the Northfield portion of Dakota County can vote at this event, including employees and members of the public. Only ballots for those wards and precincts will be available.
In Minnesota, voters can register to vote in advance or at the polls. To save time at the polls, pre-register via the Minnesota Secretary of State's Office online form by October 11 for early voting event at Carleton or by October 13 for the General Election on November 3.
Students who are not already registered to vote can still vote at this event. Those living in campus housing can simply present their OneCard to register at the time of voting.
