We would like to announce a round of applications for grants to support public scholarship. These small grants are intended to help support the completion and dissemination of a public scholarship project. Recognizing that public scholarship dissemination may take many forms, some suggestions for how the funds may be used include travel to meet with a community partner, registration or travel to a conference, hiring a student worker(s), and/or costs related to technology (e.g., software or app development).
The grants awarded are designed to supplement your PDA and other funding sources, and will typically be up to the $1000 range. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
There are limited funds to support this program and projects will be evaluated for approval as they are submitted. Requests will be reviewed by the Community and Civic Engagement Committee.
If you have any questions please contact Serena Zabin, Broom Fellow for Public Scholarship.
